The #1 California City for Coffee Lovers

The #1 California City for Coffee Lovers

But first… COFFEE

Coffee is one thing most of us enjoy, some of us can't even survive our mornings without having our caffeine fix. Through the day coffee can also be enjoyed between meetings, after a work out or just hanging out at a cafe for reading or any way you can think of to kill time or survive life. Generations have cultivated new products from the typical hot coffee to iced coffee or even shaken.

Recently, a travel magazine named Sacramento as the #1 city for coffee lovers. "The craft coffee scene in Sacramento can contend -- and probably outcompete -- that of New York, San Francisco, Portland and elsewhere," the article says.

Coffee institutions like Temple Coffee Roasters offers high standards and quality of coffee by upholding their "Farm to Cup" mindset where the company "makes partners and friends throughout the supply chain". Temple Coffee Roasters makes sure that every single step of the process, from picking your seeds to brewing gives you the perfect cup. As a result of these efforts, the coffee served at Temple is unmatched which leads them to be the highest - rated coffee shop according to the Coffee Review and has been voted Best Coffee House every year since 2005. Visit their site here: Temple Coffee - or call 916.454.1282

Other notable mentions were:

Fluid Espresso Bar, Chocolate Fish Coffee, and Naked Lounge, giving local and even visitors a lot of options to choose from.

With its raising young professional population due to the city being one of the top cities millenials move to, it is not surprising why Sacramento became one among the US cities with the highest number of independent coffee shops per capita. Sacramento, together with neighboring Stockton and Modesto, now hosts more than 500 coffee shops.

With all these coffee options, comment below your favorite coffee shop and let us know if there's any other place we should visit!
